June 10th practice
This weekend the team headed up to some new to test their skills. With a variety of technical trails, there was definitely going to be a few features that would put each rider to the test. Trail conditions were optimum and it wasn’t long after dropping into our first run of the day before we encountered a series of technical drops about midway down the trail. As seen in the video below, each rider made quick work of this section that has challenged many. For our second run, we rode a trail that had some fun jumps, berms and a few other features. After a few sessions on some of the riders favorite jumps, we decided to ramp things up. The next trail we dropped into proved to have some of the biggest, steepest, and most technical features of the day. Some of the riders were a bit unsure at first, but after assessing the features and looking at line choices together, we had our first rider step up to the challenge. One by one each rider followed suit and conquered some of the trail features that posed the biggest challenge to them. As the predicted storm rolled in we decided to call it a day. Everyone ended practice on a positive note and each rider progressed their skills. After today one thing is for sure, the bar has been set higher. We look forwarded to carrying the momentum we have built up into the first race of the season.
